These top men teams are competing in Stavanger!
Men’s Main Draw is well underway here in beautiful Stavanger. Here are some of the top men teams to turn heads for.
NUMMERDOR/VARENHORST (NED)
Reinder Nummedor started playing volleyball at the age of 7 and has a seemingly endless record of top result behind him. After teaming up with Christiaan Varenhorst from the Hauge the duo has shown exceptional form with wins in Mangaung and Sao Paulo. In Poreč Major these two flying Duchmen ended up in fourth place, so bet that these guys are hungry for conquering the podium in Stavanger.

ALISON/BRUNO (BRA)
Allison Cerutti has a long and prosperous career ahead of him, to say the least. Not yet turned 30, he has already been named Best Blocker once, most Offensive Player once and Best Smasher twice. His partner Bruno Oscar Schmidt was named Best Defensive Player in both 2013 and 2014. The two are top seeded here in Stavanger and will give anyone aiming for the podium slot closest to the sky a clash of epic proportions.

BROUWER/MEEUWSEN (NED)
Reigning FIVB Beach Volleyball World Champions Alexander Brouwer and Robert Meeuwsen are on fire these days. The duo came to Stavanger with their fresh Poreč Major gold trophies in the luggage, and no one will argue that the Dutch mavericks are in a great position to plunder the Stavanger Harbour of the gold at the end of this week as well.

FIJALEK / PRUDEL (POL)
The two aspiring Poles Mariuz Prudel and Grzegorz Fijalek has been going at it full force towards this season and along the way gained impressive results, with third place in Smart Beach Tour Münster, second place in the Grand Slam Long Beach, as well as having won the European Championship Baden Masters CEV and Grand Slam Haga. Look out Stavanger Major. These guys are smoking hot!

RICARDO / EMANUEL (BRA)
Ricardo Alex Costa Santos and Emanuel Rego are one of beach volleyball's most well-known formulas of success. After a break between 2010 and 2014, they are back as a force to be reckoned with yet again. In 2014 Emanuel Rego was named Sportsman of the Year. This is the 5th time in the 10 years the price has existed. These guys are on the road to Rio on first class!
